Perceptions & Out of the Mind Strategies – Go Beyond the Boxed in Strategies of Striving or Retreating - Part 1.

Many individuals who attempt to go beyond ‘box-thinking’ strategies often fail, because they constantly dwell upon what others do, think and say. They choose to conform to mass consciousness conditions and agendas through appeasement, obligation and compromise, because that is what they are expected to do and that is all the mind knows.

If someone begins to judge or ridicule you, stating that you are not ‘good enough’ at what you do, how would you react? What outcome would you choose when you only live in your head?

The mind in duality only knows of two methods, the fight or flight response to deal with an issue if you do things from your head and not from your heart.

Being stuck in the mind and not being able to get ‘out of the mind’ scenarios to expand consciousness can be broken down into 2 primary categories.

1. Strive
 2. Retreat
 3. Mental "Figuring-Out"
 4. Defining Words

Let’s take a look at each individual category:

  1.   Strive – To force improvement to meet the standard society expects you to comfort to:

You may acknowledge that your work needs improvement, so you stop what you do and learn the methods that are needed and you spend lots of money to force your mind to educate itself. If these lessons do not come easily, the constant striving, and effort will just stress and tire out the mind so it can be of a high standard to suit other’s agendas, demands and conformities. Going along to just appease social expectations so you can compete and be compared with others who are on a different journey, will not develop the satisfaction that you are searching for.  It will not develop your worth, health, relationships and abundance aspects because you are doing it with mental force through social obligation that will limit and compromise grander potentials to surface. Doing things from the head and not from your heart leads to stress, mental or physical imbalance in your personal, social or business life.

  1.   Retreat – To give in, to pull back, to stop trying to improve just to meet certain standards:

You may acknowledge that your work needs improvement, but you think you don’t have the money to obtain lessons, or you don’t want others to take over your creations, or you don’t agree with societies rules or regulations on what you have to do in order to obtain self-improvement, or you may think you don’t have the capabilities of improving yourself to meet or satisfy their conditions. So, you do nothing and you stop trying to achieve! You become stressed and imbalanced mentally or physically in your personal, social or business life. Most of humanities drama issues are magnified to unpleasant levels due to allowing themselves to be contained in a limited set of controls and rules – many of which are self-made. To go beyond these controls, rules and conformities is to go beyond the perceptions of the mind and the influence of mass consciousness. To balance these scenarios is to get ‘out of the mind’, to get out of the head and listen to your heart – your feelings of what is right for you, what is your truth and to be prepared to live what you believe in.

  1. Mental ‘Figuring-Out’ – In this scenario of self-improvement, you try to ‘figure’ things out, because to be a high standard of being the best, to get good grades, the mind has to know-it-all.  The intellectual and the analytical mind have played a superior role in humanities experiences for a very long time.  The mind has been placed on a pedestal, dividing a wedge between mind and muscle and between analytical mind and the intuitive and emotional senses.  The mind tires and becomes stressed easily as it has been pushed to its limits to be of a certain standard and performance, not only with the self, but with the competition and comparison against others.  Yet, the mind is also very fearful, and when it is in fear mode, the ego stands its ground to survive and protect the physical vessel from what it fears.  When stress and fear is in full force, the ego becomes unbalanced, and it often creates many immoral behaviour traits, as well as sabotaging itself when exposed to the unknown and change. The mind being very logical in its reasoning patterns becomes mistrusting and sceptical with anything that cannot be explained or proven. That is why feelings, emotions and intuition have been squashed, because it cannot be proven and controlled. The ‘mind does not know beyond what it knows’ so it tends to cling to the limited vision of only what it knows and that is only from past experiences or to rely and depend upon what others know, say, do and have. The mind being limited to understanding beyond the present has to try to figure-out everything, and, it can’t, because it cannot go beyond what it knows – it has forgotten most incidents from the past and it has no idea what the future will be. Unfortunately, what the mind does remember are the fears and doubts of past wounds that will not serve you in the future. The mind always brings the past into the future, seeking validation outside of itself, as well as dwelling upon all the external drama games.

  1. Defining Words – What others say to you can make or break your ability to improve yourself.  It can lead you to strive or to retreat. How you define words is about how you perceive and interpret them.  How you interpret words, phrases and statements, as well as the action and reaction of an experience is a reflection of how you see and treat yourself and others around you – your level of worth.  Therefore, how others see and treat you is not only about them, but it is the mirror, it is a reflection of you, through the experience of their words and actions. Like attract like!  Words have many meanings, but these meanings are often delivered with the energy of feeling and emotion that you pick up on.  How you react to these words and the atmospheric feelings depends on the level of your consciousness, trust and self-worth – i.e. how you see and treat yourself that derives from your beliefs and the influences of the dualistic concepts of right and wrong, dark and light within mass consciousness.  These feelings intensify the situation and if you buy into that energy, giving that energy attention you will attract that scenario into your life for you to experiences its expression.

Be aware that when you define words you can get caught in the ‘mental trap of figuring-out’ that limits unknown potentials to come in. The mental trap belittles self-worth and self-trust and it creates a striving verses retreating victim attitude. This keeps you living in the drama games of seeking validation in your outer world. ‘Things are not what they seem – they are more than what they seem’.  It is just like an audience watching a drama play, what is really going on behind the stage!  Energy has many levels of expression – what you see and hear from others and how you define their words is only a limited expression from their story – the masquerade game that they have chosen to act out. Your story is not the same, you are different, you are not at the same level of consciousness to them, so why buy into their story, why seek validation from their story and why limit your potentials on how they define their story- their truth and how you define what you hear and see in that story?

Perceptions & Out of the Mind Strategies - The Mental Trap of Defining Words Part 2.

Part 2 is to learn to go beyond the mental trap of striving and retreating when an individual is cornered with judgments and agendas of societies’ red tape.  Because humanity lives in the mind, it thinks it has to ‘figure-out’ everything to develop trust and worth.

It also thinks that certain words have certain meanings, but there are many different energetic levels of understanding and defining words.

How you perceive and interpret words depends on your level of consciousness, your belief system as well as the influences from mass consciousness overlays.

Being stuck in the mind and not being able to get ‘out of the mind’ scenarios to expand consciousness has another 2 primary categories.

 1. Expanded Meaning of Words
 2. Perceptions, Interpretations and Belief Systems

Let’s take a look at each individual category:

  1. Expanded Meaning of Words: As consciousness expands and changes so does the meaning and understanding of words. Old perceptions about what a word means changes - nothing stays the same.  Because consciousness is growing and is changing very rapidly, sensory feelings and heart feelings about a certain word is expanding and developing much faster than what a word was meant in the past. But also these sensory feelings can begin to be felt, but there are no words in the spoken language to define what they truly mean.  That is where words from the mind are limited and it is necessary to begin to feel from the heart, to feel the energy to understand the underlying issue to its full extent.  Eg Take the word empathy.

a)   The meaning of empathy in a dictionary is the ‘ability to mentally identify with, to understand and to fully comprehend with somebody else’s feelings, difficulties or issues’.

b)   As consciousness changes into a new age, as you open up, and your awareness and understanding grows, empathy then means ‘the ability to feel another’s pain or issues.’  When you feel energy it is easy to pick up that energy, to buy into that energy and take on that energy as your own. That energy it is not yours, unless you consciously choose to have it, you actually are picking up on another’s vibration. Just because you feel that energy it doesn’t mean that you own it. Because you are feeling the pain of another, you then think that energy belongs to you, and you buy into that energy, and because you think it is yours, you begin to act it out, to live it in your reality – that is your experience, your story.  You are taking on others energy in service, but it doesn’t have to be that way.

c)   Now, in a new energy, as your awareness expands and opens up even more to where you are more sensitive to feeling energy, especially the pain from mass consciousness, you mentally identify with and feel another pain, but you do not need to take on another’s pain or issue as your own, you do not have to buy into and own that pain or issue as your own – it is to feel then release and move another’s stuck energy.

  1. Perceptions, Interpretations and Belief Systems – Your belief system is made up of many formulated likes and dislikes, facts and mistruths about who you think you are, what you think and feel about life and your experiences. What you were taught, what you have seen and heard becomes stored in the subconscious to replay that belief, that story game. Whatever you take on from the influences of mass consciousness becomes your belief and whatever you agree with or disagree with becomes your belief.  Your belief system becomes your truth.  Most of your beliefs you have not consciously chosen, you were taught them from the handed down influences of society.  They do not belong to you, mass consciousness beliefs belong to those who choose to believe in them. The underlying energy of these beliefs were written in the scriptures thousands of years ago for a very low consciousness society.

Now due to an awakening consciousness has allowed technology to boom, to serve humanity, but many still hold onto to suffering and disempowering unbalanced beliefs that only create conflict between the level of consciousness and the standard that most people live at – hard, suffering, poverty consciousness. ‘No Pain No Gain’ scenario. Do these beliefs still serve you?  If you search the outer world for validation, if you take on their beliefs, their expectations and conformities, you live and act out that story game, and if you did not consciously choose that truth, it becomes your lie. Your masquerade story lies is who you think you are, but it is not who you really are. You are not being authentic to yourself and this affects your wellbeing in your physical reality. When you take on the drama games of mass consciousness, you act out that game until you choose to release it, to unleash old wounds and set it free, for that game allowed you to grow in consciousness.

How you perceive and interpret words comes from the 6 raw materials in your reality.

a.       Choice is the seed of decision.

b.       Decision is the first step on that journey

c.        Thoughts – you are what you think

d.       Emotions – you are what you feel

e.       Attitudes form your views and opinions, whether real or false

f.       Beliefs are ultimately governed by the above to form your reality, your truth of how you perceive and interpret an experience.  Yet, it is belief that does a return circle to make the same choice, decision, thoughts, emotions and attitudes, which form your interpretations and perceptions.

Therefore changing your beliefs and making new choices will alter or influence all other factors and what your experiences are. If choice and beliefs remain unchanged all the others will stagnate and reality will remain in a state of inertia.  For inertia to change from a state of rest there has to be an equal or greater force to change it. It would be changing your beliefs and then making different choices.

When you are ready to ‘step out of the mind’ to review how you define your words, perceptions and your story that is when you will be ready to change your beliefs and old truths about yourself and your reality. Your perceptions and definition of your old story identity will contain an expanded wisdom, understanding and acceptance from believing in that old truth and through an expanded vision you will change not only how you perceive and define the story of others, but you will attract different potential scenarios to you that will serve you and inspire your consciousness.
