In a dualistic world there are
two types of characters in the
dividing path of the rocky road
before the balancing point, the
point of separation.
-
Squashed
Self-Esteem - Is the
fearful, shy and timid – Is
this YOU?
·
Pretend by denying what you want
in your life.
·
Don’t feel and think for
yourself so you cannot express
your desires, your true
authentic nature.
·
Fear change and getting out of
your comfort zone.
·
Fear failure, success, judgment
or ridicule.
·
Fear not being able to complete
your tasks.
·
Fear not being good enough.
·
Fear of lack of love, health,
finances and skills.
·
Become imbalanced by dwell upon
the past misfortunes instead of
what you want to achieve.
-
Over-Inflated
Ego- Is the stressful, angry
and dominant – Is this YOU?
·
Try too hard, strive, fight for
what you want
·
Become overworked, stressed and
irritable
·
Struggle and become weighed down
with life’s burdens
·
Through fear you try to control
others by putting your burdens,
agendas, obsessions onto others.
·
Often with emotional blackmail,
manipulation, dominance and
force
·
Become imbalanced by giving too
much attention or attachment to
one aspect and not another
part/s of your reality.
Eg. You may appear to have a
high self-image or even wealth,
but do you have health or even
good relationships. Your
experiences reveal if you are
balanced within yourself. Often
your physical expressions are
covered up by your masquerade
story of looking good and
expressing hard work, but are
you balanced in every area of
your life. Or, if you work hard
and have ample money, do you
have enough relaxation and
leisure time?
Either aspect of imbalance or
either denial or striving is
being in a rut – the result of a
poor self-esteem or
over-inflated ego or a low
self-esteem or self-worth. “The
difference between a rut and a
grave is a matter of depth”!
A Balanced Character Is To:
Find the balance in every aspect
of your life - time, health,
love, happiness, joy, comfort,
peace, to accept all things, to
see the gift and beauty in all,
relationships, success and money
etc. Life is like a-set of
scales, where you can choose to
be too low, balanced or
too high.
3 Choices You Can Make:
1.
Squashed self-esteem =
denial = low self-worth
2.
Over-inflated self-esteem
= striving = poor self-worth
3.
Balance – the half-way
mark, the point of separation of
the dualistic opposites.
Let’s take a look at each
individual category:
·
Low Self-Worth: On one end of
the scale you have denial -
who finds life too difficult,
the hardships, fears,
challenges, competition,
struggle, ridicule and
rejections are too great and so
you back off, run away, give up
and don’t try anything at all or
divert to addictions or suicide.
·
Poor Self-Worth: On the other
end of the scale you have
striving -
struggling and striving hard to
achieve and to ward off fear you
manipulate and dominate through
force, control and trickery to
fight to get what you want in
position or material status.
·
Balance: The middle is BALANCE -
an open, aware mind, to learn to
trust your heart and not living
in denial, by too little or too
much of negative or positive
issues and its attachments.
Unfortunately, many who are
about to reach the point of
separation, often find
themselves in a deep bog, in a
high-time low! It appears that
humanity has such a strong
belief in having to struggle,
having to suffer and work hard
to gain or earn something or
reap the benefits of something
grander. That is the hard road.
The easier road is to find
balance - it is to raise your
self-worth, self-awareness and
to own your personal empowerment
and begin to trust your true
authentic nature, even if it
means ‘standing your ground’ and
even it if means being prepared
to walk alone. To be able to
‘stand alone’ may not appear to
be easy, but not all things are
what they seem! In the long
term, if someone cannot fully
accept who you are and
unconditionally love and support
you, then they have an agenda,
and they are feeding off your
energy to nourish their own
self-absorbed needs, and vice
versa. A poor or a low
self-worth is the instigator of
every imbalance issue. When you
are a balanced person and throw
away your façade, the mask of
illusion you will accept and
live your truth, your authentic
nature, you will make conscious
choices in every moment and be
responsible for what you choose
and experience. You will honour
your own 100% worth, you will
bless all of your experiences
and will be sovereign, free and
independent. This will allow
your energy to flow, to attract
balanced and empowered people
into your life. You will not
attract people to you who will
try to feed off you– because you
will be a Master of Your Life.
